Purple Ear is a collaboration between four people: Dominic Walker – script and narration; Caleb Watson – composition and sound design; Cecilia Reeve – animation; and Aphra Kennedy – producer.

In 2021, they crowdfunded £7500 (CA$2912) in six weeks, with pledges from 110 supporters. This was the start of creating a community that is passionate about their film project, “Orbed”.
